I love to create products with herbs I connect with in my garden. One of these magic herbs is known as Gotu Kola. There are many uses for this herb, one of which is for skin health and vibrancy. Because it is comprised of amino acids, beta carotene, fatty acids and phytochemicals, gotu kola is useful as a preventative for environmental damage and aging. These qualities also boost collagen in the skin and provide skin firming benefits. Gotu kola is also known to increase blood flow, which translates to an increase of nutrients and oxygen, which then boost skin healing - especially where there are blemishes, varicose veins, broken blood vessels, and cellulite.

But gotu kola is not the only magic in this potion. The combination of local beeswax and kukui nut oil as a base are healing in themselves! beeswax has been used for skin health over the centuries. Among other things, it provides vitamin A, which helps skin regenerate sooner after damage. Beeswax as well as kukui nut have a comedogenic rating of 2 which means they will not clog your pores. Kukui nut is an absolute favorite. This oil is light and provides an array of nutrients to the skin.
